ASL is awarded a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase II contract by the Air Force Research Lab at Wright-Patterson AFB to continue our Phase I research.

Aug 2007

ASL partners with ARCA Common Criteria Testing Lab to conduct a Common Criteria evaluation of BAE's XTS-400 STOP 6.4 operating system at EAL4 and EAL5.

Jan 2006

ASL is awarded a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase I contract by the Air Force Research Lab at Wright-Patterson AFB to conduct research on kernel-mode software protection to prevent piracy, reverse engineering, and tampering of end-node applications.

Sep 2004

ASL's Common Criteria Testing Laboratory receives its Candidate CCTL certification from NIAP. The certification is subsequently dropped in Oct 2005 to pursue business opportunities that conflict with being a certified CCTL.

May 2004

ASL begins support to the SAIC Common Criteria Testing Lab to help conduct Common Criteria product evaluations and develop evaluation evidence. ASL brings its operating system and high assurance evaluation experience to the SAIC team.

Sep 2003


ASL President Dave Thompson testifies before the House Government Reform Committee investigating whether the DoD procurement regulations requiring the purchase of products that have been evaluated under the Common Criteria should be applied more broadly in the US Government.
